Advancing Health Equity among Hispanic/Latino Populations

Session Objectives:

• Discuss health disparities among Hispanic/Latina women in different population subgroups with a special focus on maternal health disparities, such as maternal morbidity and mortality.
• Identify challenges as well as innovative programs and best practices that are linguistically and culturally appropriate to address and reduce maternal health disparities among Hispanic/Latina women.
• Share programs and resources to promote and improve maternal health.
