Tackling Data: Using the “Bite, Snack, Meal” Approach

August 4, 2020 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Join us for a virtual Tackling Data training session.  Flexible and free of charge!

Tackling Data training is a training for public health professionals, mental health and substance abuse professionals, elected officials, health educators, law enforcement officials, members of boards of health, and essentially anyone that wants to better understand and communicate public health data.  This training session will help you describe, compare, and visualize quantitative data while ensuring data integrity.

This course was previously offered as a one day session but now, due to COVID-19 is available virtually.  The content of the virtual Tackling Data session remains the same as previous sessions but the format in how we deliver the training is more flexible.

This course is comprised of online learning content including video lectures, downloadable resources, three live virtual meetings, and short assignments to build skills and reinforce learning.  The live sessions will take place for one hour and are scheduled at 10:am on August 4, August 11 and August 18.
