The Community Tool Box is a web site that serves as a significant source of information, training and tools for community health improvement worldwide. Our approach to community health improvement is to build the capacity of community members to identify their health issues, the root causes, and to adapt approaches that work to their context. This webinar will provide an overview of the contents of the web site and our approach, with relevant examples from communities in the USA and elsewhere. We will discuss examples of how we worked with librarians in the past, and opportunities to collaborate in the future to address the variety of community health crises facing us today.
