The Heartland Center Learning Management System, in partnership with the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS), is pleased to announce the launch of the upgraded Learning Management System (LMS). This system provides a free, user-friendly platform for convenient access to a catalog of quality courses designed to meet the needs of public health, preparedness, and other workforce performing essential public health/community services. The Heartland Center is offering a second option for the LMS Orientation Webinar for Missouri Local Public Health Administrators, and those staff they wish to invite, to review the system and provide an opportunity for questions and answers. Topics covered are the same as those covered in the first option and include: creating new accounts, requesting transcripts from the prior LMS, retrieving login information, finding & launching courses, system navigation, and printing transcripts. Additional topics of interest will also include use of E-Learning Quality Standards and LMS data to meet local public health agency accreditation standards. You may participate solely through your computer, if you have working speakers and microphone. If not, you will have to call in to the long distance phone number listed below to hear and comment during the webinar.
