Webinar: Who’s Leading the Leading Health Indicators?

Tobacco use is a major preventable cause of premature death and disease in the U.S.1, 2 Cigarette smoking and exposure to secondhand smoke are responsible for approximately 480,000 deaths each year in this country.2 Preventing tobacco use and helping people who use tobacco quit can improve health and quality of life for many Americans.

This Who’s Leading the Leading Health Indicators? webinar will focus on activities and interventions related to tobacco cessation and prevention. Through presentations focusing on data, communication efforts, and effective implementation strategies at the local level, presenters will explore the importance of tobacco cessation efforts and the progress we are making to address this public health issue.
