ASTHO, in collaboration with NNPHI, will host the Resources and Collaborative Opportunities to Address Workforce Development Webinar on Thursday, August 13th, 2015, 3:00-4:00 PM ET. This webinar welcomes State Health Agencies (SHA) Human Resources (HR) Directors, Workforce Development Directors, and Regional Public Health Training Centers (RPHTC) leaders to learn about workforce development initiatives and resources at ASTHO/NNPHI, and brainstorm how collaboration between RPHTCs, Local Performance Sites (LPS) and SHAs can address workforce development needs. Jennifer McKeever, Director of Public Health and Practice Training, and Denise Pavletic, Director of Public Health Systems Improvement, will be speaking on these initiatives and resources.

During this webinar, participants will:
- Learn about the National Coordinating Center for Public Health Training and the Regional Public Health Training Center.
- Gain working knowledge of the ASTHO Workforce Development Toolkit and other resources.
- Participate in discussion about how RPHTCs and SHAs can support one other to address health transformation/integration/coordination of workforce needs.
