Stacey Coleman
Since 2016, Stacey has been working with the Office of Public Health Practice at the UNMC College of Public Health, predominantly being involved in clerical and organizational work. When asked about the value of MPHTC, she says that it gives the states the opportunity to collaborate in ways that they may not be able to do without the MPHTC. After all, collaboration is key! She says there are “quite a lot of important trainings and the like that are available in any given year that help the enhance the field of public health”. Like many of the Regional Steering Committee members, she wishes her colleague knew that MPHTC is another great resource to help them in their public health missions. If she had all the time and resources in the world she would focus on the “wicked problem” of health disparities as they relate to race and ethnicity.
Thank you, Stacey, for the work you do!
