MPHTC will offer at least 23 internships to Public Health Students in Region VII
Annual Stipend: $3,500 per student
Number of Stipends Awarded: 23 across HHS Region VII (Iowa, Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska). Five stipends will be available for students in each state.
Purpose: This stipend will help support field placement internship projects of students enrolled in a Master’s level public health program.
Eligibility
- Students must be currently enrolled in a graduate program in a health science HHS Region VII.
- Students must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
- Preference will be given to students doing their field placement project in a rural area with a focus on socio-environmental factors of public health.
Each year, MPHTC provides internships to University of Iowa College of Public Health graduate students.
